Our 18-24 month paid Dog Training Apprenticeship gives individuals interested in becoming professional dog trainers an opportunity to learn all aspects of animal care, group socialization, dog training concepts, and multiple training approaches and strategies.

Become an apprentice

Apprentices learn handling and creative problem solving with direct supervision, support, and mentorship from our Lead Trainer and Mentor Trainer. Apprentices work in the kennel learning animal health, care, and safety, then progress to observing and assisting the lead trainer with daycare, day training, board and train, and private lesson clients. Apprentices have an opportunity to learn from our online and text book library with regular discussion of concepts and practical applications from the Lead Trainer and Mentor Trainer.

Those who make it through our demanding program can expect to competently work independently with dogs and clients in 18-24 months.
