Greensburg Bed & Biscuit Angel Fund

On any given day, we may have pets at the kennel who are not regular paying customers. While we are not a rescue and do not seek out these pets, we do our very best to assist our community and their pets in need.

Supporting Pets in need

Angel Fund donations offset our costs of caring for:

Pets owned by rescue groups who get discounted boarding rates.
Displaced pets owned by individuals escaping domestic violence.
Long-term fosters.
Pets abandoned to us.
Pets whose owners were customers but their owners have passed away.

Because we are a business, and not a non-profit rescue, donations to our Angel Fund are not tax-deductible. We sincerely appreciate your support.

adoptable hallie

Hallie is an almost 9 year old Basset Hound. Hallie began coming to Greensburg for Social Studies Daycare in early 2023. As Hallie attending Social Studies weekly, our team fell in love with her spunky personality.

Due to health issues, Hallie’s previous owner was no longer able to care for her properly. In April 2024, we began to care for Hallie at our facility full-time. We’d love to see Hallie in a relaxing, lots-of-treats home.

Hallie loves belly rubs and playing with other dogs in Social Studies. Because Hallie enjoys Social Studies so much, we’d love to continue to have her come back for daycare. She would do best in a home with owners who have Basset Hound experience.

adoptable bonnie

Bonnie is about 10 years old and came to us almost two years ago after her owner could no longer care for her. She had chronic skin issues, was not spayed and had several mass tumors.

After surgeries, spay and extensive treatment through a veterinary dermatologist, she is now in great shape and only needs daily apoquel.

Bonnie is a love bug and absolutely adores people. She is respectful of cats. She has been with other dogs, but she is a bit pushy and sometimes wants to guard her toys. She would like nothing more than to have a quiet life snuggling on a sofa.

Bonnie has been with us for a very long time with no interest. She does fine in the kennel and gets a lot of love from our team, but we would love to see her in a loving home for her senior years.

adoptable Butchie

Butchie is a 2 year old Basset Hound Mix. He is currently boarded at Greensburg through Paws Crossed Dog Rescue. Due to his lack of confidence, he was having some issues with the other dogs in the house.

Butchie is an altered male who loves his humans. He is very active and loves to play ball. He still has an abundance of puppy energy! He is currently going through training. Since being at Greensburg, his confidence has increased and he has been getting along with the other dogs.

Butchie has some “anxious attachment” to his humans and will need someone that can recognize this and love him without coddling him. He can be protective of his humans and would do best with older, mature, stable female canines.

****ADOPTED!****

Chloe is 2 years old and came to us about three months ago. She was a previous client who came to Greensburg after her family had an emergency and had to move out of town. She was originally adopted from the Berkeley County Humane Society along with her kittens.

Chloe is a very sweet and affectionate kitty. She loves human attention and company when she eats. Chloe is full of life and is still very much a playful kitten.

Chloe was spayed in December 2023. She would do best in a home that has plenty of time to give her the attention she craves!
